I loved those Mexican dinners almost as much as the .59 cent pizzas. I'd put one in the micro to make sure it got soggy then fold in half and eat it like a taco. Yum yum

Marie Calendar's has a pretty good chicken fried steak frozen/TV dinner.

Check it out sometime, good stuff.

GOAT

I always joke that you haven't experienced college unless you've been woken up by the smoke detector because you passed out drunk waiting for your totinos at 3am and its burnt to a crisp

I still keep a couple Swanson turkey and dressing meals in the freezer in case of food a emergency. Those are the only ones I can eat. Digiorno's thin crust supreme are the only other frozen food I will eat.

Will post pic later.

The Patio frozen burritos.

Either bean and cheese or beef and bean...didn't matter , fillings looked the same.

So good.

IMO they have gone way down in quality in the last few years. (I understand that's an oxymoron).

They were much better before. They are dry and bland now.

Me and a buddy used to get one each, and bake some chocolate cookies and chow down while playing video games. Good times.

What are y'all doing, posting up all these microwave things. Real, old school TV dinners were good, and came in metal trays so you could put them in the oven. We didn't have microwaves.

Like this

Loved those things. Fried chicken was good two.

We never had frozen TV dinners growing up. I've had some Lean Cuisines and Stouffer's mac and cheese and spinach souffle, Mrs Somebody's pot pie and frozen pizza, of course. I used to love those pizza rolls that burned the hell out of you if ate them hot and had very little filling.

I LOVE TV tables. I think my grandmother called them "TV trays". We always had them. I have about 10 of my own. They come in right handy. I remember growing up, we gave my parents a new set of the nice wooden ones for Christmas and we were so excited about it. They had some of the old metal ones that they never replaced. They eat on TV tables every night, now, when they don't have company.Well, if they only have one or two close friends over, they all eat on TV tables if they're watching a game unless they go to the other den and watch from the table in there. My Mom is a sportsaholic. She'll watch two games at once and have a few other things taping in some other sports. At night, she's trying to catch up on her sports. My Dad watches and reads the Wall Street Journal and, of course, they chat, as well, but they do that all day anyway.

Definitely ate a lot of these growing up

I'd be curious to see just how inedible they are now. And not even in the same category, but Lunchables. A lot of Lunchables.
