Catching Charley Crockett at The Heights Theatre. What can you guys recommend for pregame dinner and drinks....something casual....maybe ethnic? (Asian/Latin)
TIA!

What's more important...the dinner or the drinks?
Asian...there is a Jinya Ramen just down 19th from The Heights Theatre...Hando or Handies Douzo for hand rolls...Kin Dee for Thai...Les Baget for Vietnamese. I’m currently a big fan of Shun over off Shepherd in River Oaks for Japanese.
Not a lot of Latin options in the Heights...plenty of Tex-Mex/Mexican though...Superica, Taqo, 8 Row Flint is a bar that has tacos, El Tiempo on Washington Avenue.

Hughies on Main St. is a very casual and reasonably priced Vietnamese restaurant/bar. Love their banh mi's. Good for draft beers mostly, and probably a few wines. If you're looking for cocktails, this won't be your place.

Field & Tides - Scallops and shrimp & crab risotto
Agree hughies
Alice Blue is pretty much across the street from the theater.
Probably anywhere you go is going to be crowded so get there early.
