Downvotes on here have led me to believe there’s no consensus good restaurant in BR.

It's probably the boomers that think TJ Ribs is top tier BBQ.

I'd second Elsies, Cocha, Solara, Jubans and also throw in Zorbas

Elsies

Great pies, both savory and dessert. Other menu items are great. Salads are good.

Cocha

Food and restaurant look better than they actually taste. Overpriced plates. I wasn't a big fan.

quote:

Solera

Looks good but also overpriced.

quote:

Jubans

Safe choice and is great.

Zorbas

Just go to Serop's.

Great spot. They catered our wedding rehearsal dinner. The bread pudding is amazing stuff.

Agree. We also had their sweet and spicy alligator app, jerk fried chicken, and shrimp and grits.

All great.

Probably liked the fried alligator the best.

Also enjoyed their Sinatra Smash drink.

What little credibility your post had left utterly evaporated in this moment

Pontchartrain with crab stuffed mushrooms and BBQ shrimp for appetizers.

don't get the Elsie's love .... have been a few times while visiting and it was not good to me.

second Cocha (especially if you like Bldg 5)
I think Chow Yum Phat is a lot of fun and very good. With good cocktails.

Those are two interesting (and good) options

I was partially trolling on the Zorbas comment.

Friend of mine runs the Serop's on Highland so I was trying to support him lol.

Josh, Baggins is the king of bad food takes. He’d be the last person I’d take restaurant advice from.

Zorbas is excellent. I like Albasha and Serops too though. I love Greek & Mediterranean food though and BR actually has some really solid options.
