Think the name is more important but reservation apps like Resy and Open Table already have your phone number and the restaurants have caller ID

My question is what happens if one of the people on the list tests positive for rona?
Does the testing facility tell all restaurants to check their lists and report the others that were in the restaurant at the same time?
This seems logistically impossible.

They're not going to publish a list of people who tested positive.
I'd imagine what's going to happen is if the state knows that I tested positive and was at a specific restaurant on Saturday night, they would ask that restaurant for their list of customers that night so that they can be contacted and get tested.

The whole dependence on people remembering to contact every place they've been in order to accurately trace this is comical.
