Delicious pizza at Pizza Domenica yesterday

Got half smoked pork, half prosciutto. That prosciutto was absolutely delicious. Best pizza I have ever had.
Can't wait to go back. Thought I would give them some much deserved credit.

Went there for the first time last week. I had the Calabrese and the Prosciutto pizza Happy hour FTW!

Yep. This may be the best pizza in town. The crust comes out perfect in the wood burning brick oven. The happy hour pizza and wine special is one of the best deals in town.

Pizza Domenica has great pizza, but I'll just pick mine up from Domenical when I leave work to come back Uptown. Too loud on Magazine. And too many young people.

Ancora is one of my favorite spots in the city - their gnocchi, arancini and meatballs are phenomenal. It's such a fresh, easy and good meal and the staff / wine / beer list is all great. That being said I don't think anyone touches original downtown Domenica - Besh and Alon blew up the scene when they opened and as mentioned above that happy hour is still a great deal. Ancora does a similar post-9pm happy hour because they toss the unused dough at the end of the night. Post-K pizza in NOLA is pretty strong. I still love Theo's unashamedly.
