Google.com will not give personal experience and who people trust. Just asking if you prefer someone

Tramontes is good in town. If you don’t mind going over the bridge Bergerons and The Chop Shop are good.

Tramontes does a good job. Lots of options for seasoning. Excellent packaging if you give some away. Gotta pay to play though.

Highly recommend Romero’s. Burritos, tamales and a bunch of sausage options.

I would drive to Raceland and use Ken's Deer Butcher shop.

I second Kens in Raceland. Have been using them for 5 years. Great sausage and ground meat. A few years ago I got some tamales which they outsource and wasn't impressed.

I was looking for somebody in BR but decided to make the hour drive to Acadiana Wild Game in Carencro after a buddy recommended it. They're a little pricey but the quality of product is excellent.
