Our next challenge is FISH as selected by challenge winner, holygrale. Submission thread will open at 9:00 am on Monday, Dec. 28, 2020.

Submissions posted after 11:59 pm will not be considered. Remember, at least one photo. You may submit more than one entry, but if they’re both good, you’re only hurting yourself.

Notice I extended the time to 11:59 pm?

Oh wait, does that mean I have to be up at midnight to open the voting thread? I’m going to give the ending time some thought.

No harm in opening the voting thread the following morning.

Yes, that seems like a better way to do it.

Willing to give us 12:03?

Seems fair to me.

Not true. You could be taking votes from someone else, not just yourself.

I'm at a loss for what to cook since I'm allergic to most fish. I think there are only 4 I know of that I can eat.

Unless I cook something that Monday evening I'll probably be sitting this one out due to holiday travels. I have no doubt I would have received a few pity votes that will no go a different direction.

Coincidentally, we usually do Christmas Eve out but decided not to bother with covid drama this year and I'll be cooking for my SO's family and was told to make fish.

Only thing is.. While I plan to do something nice, it won't be ~adventurous~. I also don't know if I can manage to photograph the process without looking like a psychopath to others in the kitchen.

I guess there's a chance I cook while back there. We have never done much fish for Christmas.

I’m wondering if we’d get better participation if the challenge date were changed. Mid-week? A date after Jan 1?

Maybe I’ll open a discussion thread.
