For those who are ignorant about the place it's not a hot dog stand. It happens to be the best outdoor bar/patio on Magazine St. It's a awesome place to drink on a nice day. If you have patience and money.

It's great in May, June, July and August. The dry, cool air makes it hard to pass up.
Btw, RDV is probably the best value on Magazine. Ms. Mae's doesn't count (it's just too inconvenient to have to take a shower every time after going there).

I've only ever been to the one on Freret. When it was where Liberty is now, I went almost once a week.
Good for the owner that it is taking off so well, that he was able to build three nice locations for it. I saw the Frenchman one the other day and thought it a good addition to the area.
I still think the price changes make it a little expensive for hotdogs.

I don't mind the price for the dogs as much as the beer prices. $8 beers keeps me from being a regular patron of the place. I walk right by it 2-3 times a week on my way to correctly priced beverages.
