Good service, nice people.
Is there still a lunch buffet?

Same quality as Bay Leaf, but a good bit cheaper. Great place.

Thanks for the heads up. I've been curious, but haven't pulled the trigger.
The name suggests a more eclectic menu, Bay Leaf meets Albasha. Do they do it all well?

Ate there last night. I love it and an added bonus is it's inexpensive.
I started a thread yesterday naming their bread my favorite restaurant served bread in town.

This place is awesome. Only complaint I have is that they never have butter chicken on the buffet. OTher than that, I love it.
Their Lobster Masala is out of this world. DO it with their garlic nan. OMG

Lobster Masala will definitely be tried upon return visits. Thanks for the recommendation.
They remind me of the now defunct Ronnie's Ribs, in that the food is outstanding at a very low cost, with seemingly not many people taking advantage of the place.
I was a bit hesitant to try it mostly because of the location, because that spot has a history of housing some poorly run establishments, most notably that sorry excuse for an eatery called Cupid's. It also didn't help that the first time I visited CNK with the intention of eating, I walked up to a locked door with a paper sign saying they were closed due to kitchen issues, which made them look a bit suspect.
I'm glad I finally broke down and tried it because the place is very worthy of customers. As the previous posters have stated, the garlic naan is fantastic.
To answer a previous question, yes they do have a lunch buffet, including Sundays. I was there for dinner however. I'm just checking out their Facebook page where you can get a good idea of their daily buffet offerings along with some hunger inducing pics.
Curry N Kabab has some of the best food that Baton Rouge doesn't know about.

I've been there twice now, but the second time may off just been an off day because it was only okay (tandoori chicken was dry/overcooked for example). I would still put the bay leaf above it and India's about on par. Can't go wrong with any of them though

Now why would this thread be anchored?

They were having trouble with their oven they make the bread in. He came talk to us the one time I was there and said it had them closed for about a month.
