Curbside has the best burger in Baton Rouge.

Completely ignoring the prolific amount of pork product that can be precariously perched atop the patty of your picking (alliteration was the entry on my word of the day calendar) my opinion of Curbside is a simple one: they have the best freakin' hamburger in Baton Rouge.
The next time I go, I'm ordering a basic one (cheese, lettuce, pickles, tomato) so that I can more thoroughly experience and enjoy the flavor of the burger itself.
The praline bacon, pork belly preserves, and fried egg that I had today were without a doubt beyond delicious, but they were relatively overpowering of the burger itself. This is not a bad thing, it's just a thing.
I ordered the truffle fries, which is the one place that Curbside (or perhaps I) misstepped. The fries themselves were cooked perfectly and had great flavor (I sampled a friends plain fries) but the truffle oil was just too much for me. Someone who's a huge fan of truffle oil may very well have thoroughly enjoyed them, so I shan't blame Curbside for my inability to properly select from their vast fry menu.
Service was fast (less than 10 minutes from order to eating) and relatively inexpensive for the quality of product.
Any place that makes their own pickles gets a few points with me. A food truck that makes their own pickles shows how truly lazy some restaurants are.
The condiment selection was awesome. Three types of mayo, two types of mustard, three types of ketchup.
My only true complaint was the location today: right next to a sodden, mosquito filled field.
I look forward to going back...after I get my arteries drilled out.

Not to mention grinds their own meat, does all of their own fries from potatoes, local eggs, and buns, and makes their own pork belly preserves and praline bacon.
Curbside is what we refer to as LEGIT.
I fully agree with your take Schwartz.

They get the Schwartz seal of approval.

But do they raise and butcher their own cows?
I will say they have a great product. Where were they located and where tomorrow?

Just wish they would sell a side of the praline bacon.

They were on Westfork today (off of Sherwood) and will be on GSRI tomorrow.
I'm going to make it a point to try and eat at a food truck once a week from now on - the food is damn good, and I like supporting local business.

No and unnecessary, but they do buy their meat locally and locally grown.

It's a damn shame that Kicker's BBQ left.

I think they are going to start selling jars of the pork belly preserves.

I knew that wouldn't take long.

I support who and what I believe in I suppose, and when I find that I support the shite out of them.
The difference in between a person in the business for business and a foodie in the business because they love truly great food and want to make a living out of it and it shows. Who doesn't want to support someone who is super passionate about the food they put out?

He's been wanting to and hinting at it for the past 2 years. Fingers crossed that we don't have to wait too much longer.

The restrictions on food trucks in Nola is silly. But I read an article on Monday that City hall is aware and trying to fix things, and fast
