Good

It's ridiculous that New Orleans doesn't have awesome street food considering how much of the city is pedestrian friendly

Had one for the first time today. Was expecting to be disappointed after hearing how good this place is and was pleasantly surprised. Great burger. Track them down when you can. It's worth a drive across town.

I read the article too but I didn't come away from it as optimistic as you.

Yeah, 600 ft is beyond dumb. I understand their concern, but there really needs to be room for this in NOLA. Lucky Dog is in, and I'm not sure you have to make it in the quarter, but maybe what they should do is find some lots around the city for the trucks to park in with foot traffic and serve,

On Saturday, they set up around 11:00 or so off Perkins, near Mansions in the Park....I've been wanting to try them, but the time I stopped they had just closed up. I believe that was around 2:00.....

Yes, the restrictions suck. We went up to City Hall and tried to get a permit, but they only have a 100 and all were given out then we don't have a truck or a trailer yet. But I do have a friend in the inspectors office who said he can help.
