Crawfish Pot Repair - Worth It?

Dad's old crawfish pot is leaking. The rivets that secure the outside handles to the pot appear to be corroding out. Is there any type of repair that can be made, or just chunk it and go with a new pot and basket? I like this one, as its short and squat, and seems to heat quicker than the tall thin pots, so I'll save it if its worth a try.

I used JB Weld to patch a hole over 10 years ago. Still good.

Drill the rivets out, and use stainless steel bolts to replace them. No need for it to be super water tight.

That's pretty bad. Not sure if it's worth trying to repair. It could also be dangerous if one of those handles gives out.

At my age, with 3 + ruptured discs, I use my brain, not my back.
I use a boiler to dip it into my wheelbarrow and then go to the drain.

That pot's pretty gnarly. I'd get a new one. Just look for one with the same dimensions if you're happy with that. It's easier than ever with this internet thing.

Looking at those pics I'd say turn that into a flower pot and buy a Cajun Rocketpot. The aluminum is all pitted and will be hard to "fix"
