the last few times i had a bmc product it was at a show and somebody bought it for me without asking if i wanted one. it wouldve been disrespectful to turn it down.
"accidentally" spill it, then go buy something better

I know a lot of craft beer people who hate on BMC and refuse to drink their beers.
None of them have refused to drink a Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout when I've opened one.

This.
I've had their Sophie? and the Bourbon stout within the last few months.

I've never drank one (never had a chance though :lol)
and I do find myself torn on issues like this with GI. It's easy to turn down Bud Light, because it tastes bad. But when you have a craft producer that makes a great product, then sells to BMC, it's tough to stop enjoying them out of some principle.
I guess, like I said, I haven't been put in that situation

If you ever get a chance to try the Juliet and you like sours don't pass it up. Hard to believe it's such a good beer.

After drinking a few Irish Channel Stouts lately, it is now my favorite NOLA beer.
I won a pitcher of it at trivia last night.. I savored every last drop

Abita Christmas Ale does not get a free pass, one of the worst winter seasonals evah. Strawn Amber ale this past weekend tasted so sweet had to ask for it to be comped/swapped for something else.

If you don't mind my asking, how did this go down? Even at the beer bar I'm a regular at I don't think I'd have the guts to ask the bartender to comp my beer just because I didn't like it. I'd just suffer through it because I made a bad decision and learn from it.

Just curious, why do you hate Fireman's 4 so much? I agree that Real Ale has a lot better beers than that and central TX/Austin has tons of better beers, but I'd have a hard time taking BMC over it.

I'd take a bud light over La Fin du Monde (and most Belgians)

as previously mentioned:
Jockomo IPA (abita)
Amnesia IPA (indian wells)
To add:
IPA from trader joe's (don't know the name or who brewed it)
Barrel Trolley IPA from Harris Teeter grocery store (not sure who actually brews it)
