It was supposed to be slow cooked chuck in gravy on Leidenheimer bread. I asked for no lettuce or tomato.
I didn't eat it. The meat was dry and hard and dark in places with hunks of fat and it didn't even cover the bread. No gravy at all. Barely any mayo. Pitiful. I can't for the life of me imagine someone allowing that food to walk out of the door.

I've complained at a restaurant once in my life. That would have been my second. That's a hard no.

A child's desire changed the dinner plans. She wanted Copeland's. The description sounded delicious. It was not as described. I put it in foil to open it for a photo which I emailed to the night manager.

They also left off an entree totally, didn't provide extra sauce with the wings. No sauce at all for bayou broccoli after we requested extra sauce twice. The whole thing was awful. Not the first time. Can't recall the last time I've had food from there.

I remember when they opened the first Copeland's in the N.O. area, and its menu was considered inventive. Sorry for your meal, but thta photo reminds me why I never step foot in any Copeland business.

Are they the same?

I had a gosh awful brunch at Copelands several months ago. That place is just bad.

In theory, I still like some of the dishes from Copelands.

Execution is their failure. Service and quality were terrible the last several times I have gone.

I have a few family members that always like to go for birthdays.

Can't remember the last time I went when I walked out thinking that was a solid meal.

And I don't hate on chains and actually used to really like Copelands.

Good roast beef po boys are non-existent here in Georgia, so I always get at least one when I come to LA. I would have been crushed to receive that.

Hope you will let us know what sort of response you get.
