The more important question is what kind of potato they use on the ISS to take photographs.

The only one I can distinguish is Sriracha. Whoever took these photos sure has a shitty phone.

Do astronauts still get all the Tang they want?

Besides Sriracha, it looks like a bottle of Cholula hot sauce next to the Sriracha, spicy brown mustard of some kind there in the middle, and a Heinz Ketchup on the far left.

There's Tabasco, too.

As far as the shitty pic, it's because this is taken from one of those 360 deg viewers. They want to keep file size down, I guess.

I had read somewhere that Tabasco, spicy mustard Worcestershire and ketchup have been favorites to help spice up the sometimes-bland food they get. Like others, the most obvious condiment I see is the siracha sauce.

Tang was developed because the drinking water generated by the fuel cells on the first flights (maybe Apollo flights) has a nasty taste and needed a strong cover up taste.

I bet the Ruskies have slipped a little tabasco in their vodka when no one is looking.

So they have a secret supply of Huy Fong Sriracha for the astronauts! I'm guessing that's the old formulation also. Lucky bastards.
