About Ella Brennan’s building of the Brennan restaurant empire but the best show I have ever seen on the history of the New Orleans restaurant scene. Very entertaining.
If you’re interested in the history of New Orleans food check it out.

I’ve watched it and agree, it’s incredibly fascinating.

Yeah it's been on there a while and they screened it at Prytania Theater. Really good.

Nice. So did the cousin get the name, Icon, and recipes in the end?

The wife and I made breakfast and watched it this morning. It was really well done and we both enjoyed it.

Ella Brennan is a legend

The "Brennans" side hasn't fared well. In fact, now that Ted is dead, I suspect that reign is over.
Here's an old family tree. It's interesting that the 4th generation doesn't show much interest in the family biz. Wonder what will happen in the future as the current owners age out?

I know of 3-5 of the 4th Gen. are involved in one side of the restaurants. Mix between back and front of the house.

The tree is dated so some of them may have been young at the time. I think Cindy's kids were too young in 2013. Tommy Brennan is not involved, but has ownership interest.
Which kids of kids are involved?

Just saw Miss Brennan’s daughter, Ti, at Blue Oak BBQ. Everyone was wishing her well.

I met her a couple times when my friend worked at commanders. Very friendly woman.
