technically, it would be Cade ... correct ? Corp. HQ is based out of NI, as I do recall a business location off Southpark

just messing with ya, but yeah, Cade. They also had a plant in Coteau. They may have been located in the old Trappey's place in New Iberia when it shut down, can't remember

Zatarain’s - New Orleans

Throw in some aforementioned Conecuh sausage and their red beans and rice is the best Cajun dish that can be had!

Same...1/3 of the stuff listed in this thread will more than likely be boutique shite.

Little Debbie (Chattanooga, TN). Heck, there are even LD outlet stores up there.

Use to be a lot cheaper in the factory store before they rebuilt it. Went from .50-.80 a box to about 1.00 to 1.50. Haven’t been in there much since the supply inflation, probably higher now.

I'd put andouille or chaurice in red beans and not generic sausage from Alabama.

And Zatarain’s red beans and rice mix is OK for something quick but it's not as good as actually making red beans.

Either being from Alabama or going to Auburn, I'm surprised you haven't heard of Golden Eagle syrup. The other 3, I've never heard of them either

Pollard's is hardly a boutique product, but it is pretty obscure, I'll give you that one. Good corn meal though for hoe cakes and cornbread.

I suspect most people in south Alabama have heard of or had Kelly's sausage and I've seen it in stores in Atlanta.

Golden Eagle should be well known throughout Alabama.

Foy's is pretty easy to find in E Alabama/W Georgia. If you've ever eaten at the BBQ House in Auburn or Chuck's, then you know what it's like, a tangy, non-sweet, mustard, vinegar sauce.

Now Freddy B's BBQ sauce, that's boutique.

Seems like an East AL/West AL thing going on here. I'm from Greene County and have spent very little time in East AL, might be why I only know Golden Eagle

Virtually all Morton salt comes from a single salt mine or dome in TX? that still contains enough salt for 500 more years salt production.
