Recommendations for Cinco De Mayo tomorrow. I would like to also ask what is the opinion of El Rio Grande? To hear Culotta and T-Bob, it's the best Mexican restaurant in Baton Rouge.

El Rio Grande is pretty strong. It is old school. I have friends who swear by it. Now, the time I went there, I didn't drink, so I can't speak to their margaritas.
Now, they ponied up some dough to get T-Bob and Culotta there for Cinco, so I would take what those two jokers are saying with a grain of salt. They're not going to say the place sucks after they agreed to sponsor the show....

You sound like you're a shitload of fun to hang out with. I bet you have a lot of friends.

Because I've never been to a Cinco De Mayo "celebration" at some Tex-Mex place? OK. If that's solely your idea of fun, have at it.

I do, but their interests and judgments of others appear to be much broader than yours, which are, quite frankly, pathetic and trite.

You mean I posted something about Cinco de Mayo in a Cinco de Mayo thread!?! Don't clutch your pearls too tightly there, Henrietta.

Because we don't make derogatory comments to or make trite judgments of someone who hasn't been to a Cinco de Mayo event? Yes, we sound like assholes.

I never skip one. But then again, you probably don't have 3 kids that were born on Cinco De Mayo...

Look for this guy and his 15 like minded friends tomorrow on the OT. They will be pissed off all over the threads tomorrow talking about this fake made up holiday. Some will even be pissed about it.
