What’s on everyone’s menu for cinco de mayo?
We’re going to do pullled pork tacos, traditional rice and beans. Probably wash it down with a few Dos Equis.

I have to be honest, I hadn’t thought about it until now. But I’ll put together a menu today for sure.

Update: going to make some carnitas and do some quesadillas and pitchers of margaritas. I’ll add a photo tomorrow.

One of our favorite holidays. Typically we try to incorporate mayonnaise into 5 dishes to keep it as authentic as possible. Burgers, ham n cheese sandwiches, potato salad, Mexican street corn, pear slices slathered in Hellman’s are on this years menu. Cinco de Mayo is the best.

What else does one need besides tequila in various forms.

Pitchers of Margarita's sound good to me.

Chicken on the grill with a ridiculous amount of bellpepper and onion on a tortilla sounds good to me since im now also just thinking about it. Ill probably get one of those cheap things of spanish rice that I have to admit is a guilty pleasure of mine.

I'll probably make a run for the border at some point tomorrow. Then margaritas, then leftovers.

As in "Taco Hell". If so, that's probably not the only place you'll be running to by days end.

Did my cooking last night. Al pastor and marinated skirt steak from the Mexican market. Made corn tortillas from scratch for first time, topped tacos with pickled red onion, cilantro, queso fresco. Made street corn bowls for a side.

Headed to Ki Mexico today to eat tacos until i pass out.
