Whiskey
Ice

If you're feeling fancy, add bitters, simple syrup, a cherry, and a orange peel.

Think about doing coquito. It's a puerto rican style coconut eggnog, and it's amazing. Much better than regular eggnog.

Vieux Carre:

1 oz. rye
1 oz. cognac
1 oz. sweet vermouth
3 dashes angostura bitters
3 dashes peychoud’s bitters

Add ice and stir. Strain to chilled glass. Float with a bar spoon of benedictine and garnish with a luxardo cherry or lemon swath.

Pointsettia's are a nice light choice depending on how much cranberry juice is in the balance.
