so my girlfriend (no pics) has decided she wants to go to brunch christmas eve morning while we are home visiting family. I'm from there but has been many years since i lived there so am certainly not up to date on where to do this sort of thing, not that i would be anyway. anyhow, she is not from there and wants to half arse be touristy, while also getting a nice brunch. me, id rather stay on the northshore, but will go to the city if need be. any suggestions on where i need to start looking at reservations? honestly id like this to be as painless as possible as I've already thought more about one meal than i ever have in my life, and certainly not this far ahead of time. but... its what she wants to do, and i am ok with that. anybody?

The Sycamore House in Bay St Louis. She'd be putty in your hands after that.

Stay on the North Shore. Most good places in NO are already completely booked for brunch with the Saints vs Falcons game at noon Christmas Eve.

didn't even consider the saints game.... even better reason to stay northshore, unless somebody comes up with thickets, and then brunch is off anyhow hahahahahaha... keep em coming, I'm def going to book one of the suggestions from this thread and not looking anywhere else

Don't wait too long. Nice places fill up even before Thanksgiving with reservations and some even earlier than that during the holidays.

I don't have any suggestions not mentioned.

Mandeville

Old Rail - I haven’t been to their brunch yet, but we have some friends that said it was good.

The Lakehouse - The Lakehouse is nice because it’s right on the lake front and if you sit upstairs you have a really nice view.
