For that money you could have gotten a 1 lb. prime ribeye, baking potato and most of the fixings to make a filling meal.

If that little sandwich is $26, then I'd pass and go elsewhere for a real meal.

I agree, i just wanted to try it from hearing about it in this thread. I wouldn't even call it a sandwich. It's one tiny roll with about 6 pieces of lobster in it

Lobster rolls are one of the most overrated food items out there.

A friend of mine told us that she will never order a dish that states that it has crab meat or lobster in it. She said that when she orders a dish that has crab meat or lobster in it she gets a dish that contains nothing but that fake crab meat in it. She told us that the fake crab meat is awful and that the dish is really bland. She said that she gets the fake meat in some restaurants that have been around for years. She said that she will never order a crab meat dish in a restaurant ever again. She said that crab meat dishes like crab meat au grautin (sp) she fixes at home because the crab that she buys is 100% real crab meat. Thanks to her, I'll never order a crab dish in a restaurant. She said that the so called crab dishes are real expensive because it is made with crab meat that is actually fish.

It’s a bit pricey. $26 for a lobster roll on a hot dog bun with not very much lobster.

I feel like some of the prices are okay but some are just way out of line.

I have always found Tramonte's and Hebert's Specialty Meats in Dutchtown to be better quality and lower priced.

I agree about Tramonte's, disagree on Hebert's. I find Hebert's terrible.

I agree though the Highland store is really nice and the owners are great people.
