Chicken wings in the air fryer

Guys and gals, I just finished up a batch of chicken wings from my new air fryer. I cooked 16 wings and coated them in about a tablespoon or so of olive oil then hit them with some of this:
Threw them in the air fryer for 12 minutes, flipped them for 14 more. Made some homemade ranch to go with them for dipping.
I've had wings smoked, grilled, sous vide, baked, deep fried, fried, and broiled - all of these ways made the night Lincoln was shot look like a peanut. I'll even include Saw's smoked wings in this comparison.
I'm gonna do another batch this weekend and experiment with some other rubs (lemon pepper, bbq, asian). What have you found to work well with air fried wings?

Smoke them for flavor and then throw them in the air fryer to crisp.

Yeah when I have the time and opportunity I like to throw them on grill for a bit then finish in the air fryer.

bullshite nothing will ever compare with deep frying in grease. You air fry soy boys aren’t fooling anyone

My absolute go to way to do it now. My boys love cooking their own wings now!

You wanna meet me at sonic and talk through this like real men?
It’s better than deep fried

No. No it isn’t.

This is what I’ve been doing.

I used that same rub. I'll throw them in the Instantpot on high pressure for 9 minutes, then take them out and toss them liberally in Yardbird. Put the airfryer lid on the pot and cook them for 9 minutes, toss, then another 9 minutes. They come out amazing.

I agree but I use my Charbriol oil less and don't have to deal with the mess afterwards. Also takes a little longer which allows for an extra beer or two.

Saw's no longer sells wings. Replaced them with thighs
