Spent four days backpacking in the hoh rainforest the last week of April. We ran into herds of elk multiple times a day with seeing close to 100 total. Jumped a bear on trail and saw tons of deer and grouse. The entire area is absolutely stunning. We wound up hiking 50 miles in our time there. We cant wait to get back to Washington for another backpacking trip. LINK

Headed to Washington in a couple of weeks for my first visit to the PNW. Will have 3 days to spend checking stuff out. Arrive in Seattle at 10:30am and will have a SUV for the duration. Staying in Seabeck. I figured eating/drinking and checking out Seattle the day we arrive. We enjoy the outdoors and hiking just haven't nailed down what to see since it's only 3 days.

Food wise - purveyor, la esquina cochina, commerce kitchen, big oh's, jack brown's are all in walking distance of each other downtown and good options.

100% UnoCoat. I have a hardwood floor refinishing business and UnoCoat > Rubio. I've been using hardwax oils and penetrating oils for many years now. On a technical side UnoCoat will deliver someone without experience a better finished product in the end for half the cost. If you decide to go with a hardwax oil product pop the grain before application and do a second coat the next day. Both products will highlight sanding imperfections but bonding to wood is not ideal if you take your sanding sequence up too high of a grit so water popping is key.

We can now confirm that Mostly Harmless was Vance Rodriguez, a technology worker originally from Louisiana but in recent years based in Brooklyn, New York. After our print story was published, Nark continued his reporting and on December 16 he connected with Rodriguez’s former roommate, who is certain that the hiker known as Mostly Harmless is Rodriguez. Three other friends of Rodriguez also confirmed to Adventure Journal that the hiker in the photos is the man they knew as Vance Rodriguez.

Muddled raw cane sugar. Simple syrup does not take you places drinking an old fashioned.
