I am craving some chicken cracklins. Does anyone know of a place in Houston that sells them?

What about at Hebert's Specialty Meats on Richmond Ave or Diary Ashford?

Locations here in Louisiana have them.

Not relative to this post but I was reminded of it the other day when I was at Marque's Market in Harvey.
They had a 3 oz. package of chicken cracklins(made in Eupora Mississippi I believe it was)for $6.99.

I don’t get what the fuss is over these things. They taste exactly like Walmart’s popcorn chicken. Maybe just a little crispier but the flavor is the same.

The Hebert's on Dairy Ashford doesn't have pork cracklin or chicken cracklin. I don't know of anywhere in Houston that has proper cracklin, let alone the newly popular chicken cracklin.

Roadside Sweets and Eats in Cypress does proper LA cracklin. Check to see if they made any first before going out there

I know what I’m doing this afternoon. Kim’s out of Mississippi makes good ones. The ones I’ve had in Louisiana have all been breaded, which doesn’t crisp up the skin as much.

Don’s ... very airy and crispy, appears to be a light dusting of flour before cooking

The ones from Kirk's U Need a Butcher in Lafayette are not breaded. They're the only ones I've had, so I can't speak for ones from other places. Addictive!

Riverside in Plaquemine and Bergeron’s both do a really good job. I pretty much switched over from pork cracklings entirely
