Got an invite today to go watch a live taping of his new show.Subject today Frog Legs cooked three ways,should be a good time with a good meal to follow.

I went to a few tapings a couple of years ago and you dont get to eat the food he cooks, they have a buffet style set up in another room with your typical red beans, jambalaya, pasta etc

I dont have actual expierence to know that but, based on what i've heard from many that have worked for him, that is true.

He's ok in my book. When I was in middle school in Lake Charles, he came to my school and showed us how to make gumbo. For his demonstation, me and a classmate of mine were chosen to be his sous chefs. After we were done, he gave me a copy of one of his cookbooks and autographed it.

The wife used to work for LPB and met John on several occasions...said that in her experience he is a really nice guy

I know plenty of people that used to work for him and they would agree with me. They even said it while they still worked for him. Ask the Dardenne brothers about him.
