Puckett's Grocery & Restaurant downtown is good and very close to the aquarium and Walnut Street Bridge.
Urban Stack has great burgers.
Lupi's Pies for pizza.
Bluegrass Grill for breakfast.
Flying Squirrel is a great craft beer bar with good food. But 21 and over only.
Walk across the Walnut Street Bridge and get ice cream from Clumpies.
Tupelo Honey is really good too.
Terminal Brewhouse has OK beer and good bar food in a great atmosphere.
Mojo Burrito is a good spot too.

Was there two weeks ago. We really enjoyed Blue Plate and Taco Mamacita.

Besides what has already been mentioned
Stir has a really solid sunday brunch, the shrimp and grits were really good. If you get an entree, they have a wet bar with fruit, pasta salads, potato salad, eggs, muffins, cookies, brownies, and cinnamon rolls that are free. Pretty cool set up.
Brewhaus was a decent german restaurant with a good draft selection
Beast + Barrell was hipster as hell, but food and drinks were solid
Heaven & Ale Brewing was a solid brewery too. (Go to the big warehouse, not the shack on the street right next to it)

Yea, If i'm getting a burger, I'd probably go to Tremont Tavern. I hate the service there, but the burger was good.

If you want to eat "bad" but enjoy really "good" fried chickens, go to Champy's.

Stopped at Tremont Tavern last summer while in Chatanooga.... the Durty Gomez is the best burger I’ve ever eaten.

Ditto--I enjoyed the Tremont Tavern burger on a last summer trip thru Chatty as well.
Sleeper hit: the spent grain pretzel at Chattanooga Brewing Company.

Is that the one that is 50% chorizo? It was very good if so.

Oddstory Brewing had a solid pretzel w/ beer cheese as well. Visited two weekends ago.

I've posted a list a few times. Most of it has been covered here. Cafe on the Corner is a good place to stop if you are on top Lookout Mountain.

Yes indeed. Was very good. Nice beer selection & tots, too. Good lunch.

I went to Chattanooga last August and only had time for one meal. Was told Chartanooga had pretty good food. Urban Stack had good reviews. Was pissed when I ate there. The burger is equivalent to mooyah, smashburger, fiveguys, but more expensive! Cute waitresses though.

If you want a burger, Tremont is the answer. Main Street Meats and Feed are decent too. I go to Urban Stack some, but that’s cause it’s close to work. It’s not terrible, but it isn’t something I would recommend over other places.
