Couple adds to your great list:

Arte Nom 1414

El Tequelino

La Gritona

Who has the best selection in New Orleans? Elios has a few of my favorites and gets the occasional Fortaleza.

Showed Ms. Zappa this thread and her response was "why not just buy a good mezcal?" I agree with her but she was a big tequila drinker until she finally tried mezcal.

Mezcal isn't for everyone. Smokey, smokey and some of them have a band-aid taste to them on the finish. We make a spicy blackberry mezcal drink that is really well-liked for the mezcal drinkers but not so much for the non-mezcal drinkers.

Nice haul. I love tequila and fear it may be what the bourbon bros move to next.

If nothing else this thread should dissuade anyone from buying casamigos or clase azul ever again.

Maybe it’s not anything in particular.

What was it before bourbon?

Wine seems to be the most consistent when it comes to popularity especially with the advent of wineries being open all throughout the country.

One good thing with tequila, especially blanco, is it can be produced a lot faster than bourbon. Assuming the agave plants are available
