Sure, alot. Every time we come to NOLA, in season. Cash only. They close Memorial Day and don't open until Labor Day

My favorite place for raw oysters in the city. Soft shell crabs are legit too

Great old time oyster stew made with whole milk and butter. Just like my father always made. Great stuff. And the oyster sandwich is really good.

I think they have the best fried and raw oysters in town.

And I like Katie’s too. They have that 3 foot po boy. Think it’s the barge. But they do good red beans too that I like. Not Natchitoches style.

And soft shell crab

Bold statement considering fried seafood is probably at a considerable amount of places that serves seafood, sans places like Peche.

Example is Bevi .. fried shrimp and soft shell is money.

I have wanted to eat there forever. I swear my trips to the city always seem to be either on days they are closed or during their summer closure. I may make a trip this week.

While in med school, I lived around the corner from Casamento’s. Ate there almost weekly in season for a couple of years. Awesome seafood. OLD school!

It’s not an intimate date venue, but it’s damn good.

Casamento's is great. Katie's is terrible and over priced.

I do not understand the love for this place. I'm not saying it's bad but it's certainly nothing special. There's probably a hundred places in Metro NOLA with equal or better fried shrimp.

Love Casamentos. Gotta order a Dixie and drink it out of the tiny glass. Cash only. Be careful when going to the bathroom... you’ve gotta walk through the kitchen and that floor is slick with grease!
