You need to clarify if you are eating in Baton Rouge after the game or going back to Hammond and eating there.

In BR then I would go with Parrains.
In Hammond... Hmmm Top la has good seafood. Jacmel had ok Creole.
Middendorf's certainly isnt cajun unless you consider fried seafood cajun. But is good fried food.
Dons Seafood is a decent mixture of seafood and cajun.
Roberto's is good but nowhere near where you are going.
Overall I would recommend Parrains in Baton Rouge and Tope La in Hammond.
With a stop at Ronnies for Boudin and Cracklin on game day.

If you're coming down I-59, as I assume you are, y'all should exit a bit before Hammond and eat at John Besh's La Provence. It's not cajun, but I'm not sure that's what you really want - not sure you're going West enough to really get that either. It's an amazing Louisiana restaurant that will blow your mind. I'd say it's more French than anything, but...well just read the menu.
Dinner Menu
Might want to dress like a civil human and not a pom-pom.

I think he was saying the BR location has been there a lot longer than the newer locations.. BR location has been there since like the 60s.

Jacmel Inn and Tope La in Hammond. Or drive out to Killian just past springfield on HWY 22 and eat at charlies. Really good mixture of food and really good.
Also you can try Pier 112 in Hammond which is also good.
Before you head out to the game stop at Lees for breakfast.

Go to Red Lobster in Shreveport for lunch Saturday. Plenty of time to still make kickoff.

Go with Middendorf's (near Hammond) if you are looking for casual and something a bit more "Swamp People". Go to Jacmel Inn if you are looking for a bit more upscale.

The crawfish etouffee at Don's in Hammond is pretty good along with their gumbo.
If you can spend big bucks try O'Donnels on railroad avenue in Ponchatoula. We've had some great meals there but the service can be spotty.
