My town is reacting like we will all be shuttering into cellars for the next 6 months.. luckily we already have a stockpile of sardines, tuna, & mackerel. Frankly, because, I like all that stuff haha. What do you like to do with similar items?

I take tuna pouches, add a few scoops of cottage cheese, throw on habanero hot sauce and black pepper and mix up. Its delicious.

Of course another staple is to empty sardines onto plate and cover with hot sauce. For common grocery brands, I prefer the large filets from Wild Planet. Promo might be gone, but I got 12 tins every other month for $20 early this year

You can’t beat fish steaks on Ritz for a quick shore lunch when canoeing. Or smoked oysters with a dab of spicy mustard or hot sauce.

If you like anchovies in oil, they’re really good cooked down with 6 shallots and a lot of tomato paste for a pasta.

I buy canned salmon during normal times, but it's hard to find now. I like to make a sort of stir fry with brown rice and vegetables. Salmon cakes are good too. Salmon "chicken salad" is another one.

I find canned tuna to be too dry.

Anchovies on a take & bake cheese pizza. Stanks up the house but worth it.

This is a big thing in parts of Spain and Portugal. There are some establishments that sell premium-style canned fish and then offer a salad or potatoes with it.

N7

That was sort of their original schtick, but I went somewhat recently and it appears they have moved away from it.

It's a good place, though.

I made that recipe a couple of weeks ago. It was a super intense flavor that made the whole house stink, but it was pretty dang good on pasta.

I like mashing canned tuna with avocado, bell pepper, onion, etc., etc. At the least, it's an easy make with healthy fats and low carbs.
