Do y'all get Southern Star? Buried Hatchet is a nice stout

Yes, we do. I like that one, but don't think it is on the same level as the others mentioned.

Been there. I still make it a point to moderate around my daughter. I'll never forget when she was old enough to start counting how many beers I'd had at a crawfish boil!

Make a stop off in Covington and go to Acquistipace's. Best selection of beer and wine I've seen in the state.

Better yet, do what I did. Bought a third fridge solely dedicated to beer!

I am not going, but I know a few who are. There is a Zwanze Day event there Saturday.

Didn't see these mentioned:

-Beer Geek Brunch Weasel (expensive but one of the best stouts I've ever had)

Clown Shoes Blaecorn Unidragon
Clown Shoes Porcine Unidragon (same as above but bourbon barrel aged)

try these sites:

Beer Jober

LINK

I've ordered multiple times from each. On the beer jobber site - you can get a sample pack of Lazy Magnolia that includes the Jefferson Stout. VERY hard to find that in a bottle.

Lots of good choices in this thread. When it is available, I'm a really big fan of Nola Irish Channel Stout.

They serve beer at the zoo. Can't tell you how many times I have had three too many while walking around that place.
