20 month old. She eats what we eat. But looking for a decent place that a kid won't piss everyone off. Budget is $100 for two

I always ask this, but why is the FQ a requirement? This is a small city that's easy to get around and there much better options outside the FQ.
However, there are places like Stanley that works.

That's fine. The FQ is just filled with such crap. Not a lot of kid friendly options that aren't terrible.

Which is why I asked. I'm not looking for the place with the kid area/arcade machines. Just something where the table next to me isn't going to bitch if my daughter fusses for a minute.

While technically not in the Quarter, Domenica would fit the bill. It's just across Canal on Baronne.

Cafe Masparo on Decatur...right in the heart the quarter. Parking across street.

I'm partial to maspero.

Maspero has been really shitty for years now. I believe they were taken over by other owners a few years back.
I wouldn't go there.

With where you are staying I would just bump the budget up just a bit and go to Mr B's.
The casual side of Arnauds as suggested is a good idea too.

Then New Orleans sounds like a shitty food city, which is quite unlike how it's portrayed around these parts. I don't think the OP is looking for a table at August at 8p.m. on a Saturday night.

The Desire Oyster Bar in the Royal Sonesta is actually not bad. Some of the best grilled oysters I've ever had.

My wife and I usually enjoy going to Royal House if we are looking for a casual spot in the quarter. Definitely within walking distance from the Sonesta.
