funky sours are an acquired taste. I enjoyed it.

I'm probably the 2nd biggest sour homer here...That beer was fricking disgusting and anyone that disagrees is wrong...This is not an opinion, it is a known fact

I know several people that enjoyed it..They also drink shite I wouldn't touch if my mouth was on fire and there was no piss around..You're either responsible for the beer or know the person who is..I'm a huge fan of KK personally, but not a big fan of their products lately

From Untappd where it has a 2.76 avg rating:

quote:

Straight Parmesan and booty sweat aroma. The taste is somewhat more palatable, but it's still not good. Slight fruit, but still cheesy

quote:

Pretty old. Smells like funky strawberry cheese or something

quote:

some bad cheese on that back end...

quote:

Smells like vomit but tastes great

quote:

Absolutely horrible. Rotten eggs, blue cheese. Don't know why this passed QC. It deserves a Negative rating

quote:

by far the absolute worst beer ever produced. why would anyone bottle something reminiscent of vomit and call it an anniversary beer.

and none of these are mine...Shall I continue ?

That beer was awful. It didn't taste as horrid as it smelled, but I just couldn't get over the smell. Was worried I might end up with botulism if I drank any more than the few sips I was able to get down.

It’s a sour, so of course it was disgusting. Sours are an abomination upon the craft beer industry.

Butyric. Parmesan. Been in my fridge. Maybe should have cellared? Or dumped

quote:

Aight...

quote:

Last one i had laying around and their 6th anniversary is this weekend so I decided to get rid of it

quote:

Smells like blue cheese. Taste like I I too. With a little sour fruit. Holy crap, y'all.

quote:

Something wasn't right with this one. Parmesan cheese all over the nose and finish. Why would you pour this at #GABF?

quote:

Not sure what was happening with this beer, definitely got the "vomit" aroma that others are talking about but the beer didn't taste bad

quote:

Problems. Cheese & sweat. :(

But you admitted to never having tried any of their beers that people have come to enjoy recently. DDH Cocodrie has been around for quite some time now.

Maybe you won’t like any of the recent stuff either, but I’d recommend giving them another shot.

what's your point? it's still an opinion. not a fact. different people have different tastes. I enjoyed it.

you know what, that is fair..The people on this board and on others that I value opinions from agree with me..shite, I remember the guy bringing me my bottles and warning me ahead of time..

When I look at these review on untappd though, the people who liked it never said it was great..I mean your best review listed is essentially "its different, could be worse"..

I'm not going to actively seek out a product that I might not enjoy..Notice how I didn't have anything to say about the beers I haven't tried..
ETA: odds are you know who I am based on the sour comment and the need to feed me

Honesty have no clue, dude. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I’ve met (that I know of) three FBDers in real life, and have communicated with about another three. Never been to any sharings or beer releases. I just chill at my home in the H-Town burbs.

I don't think you believe this. How would you ever try something new on you're own accord? Or do you only rely on other people to make you try new things?
