Cajun Aces
Local Chefs, Cody and Samantha Carroll, have the 2nd season of their show "Cajun Aces" airing this Saturday on Food Network at 11:00am Central time! It's different format than the show last season as it focuses on them cooking at the farm instead of going to each restaurant! I am looking forward to watching!

I'm happy for them and they're success. Great cooks and great people!

Damn, that sucks. A guy I grew up with is the chef at one of their places so that was a huge reason I watched.

Her voice makes me change the channel

Got it recorded. They seem like nice folks, and I enjoyed season 1 enough to keep watching.

I liked the format of the first season WAY better.
Its just a regular ole cooking show now.

Fat fingers, didn’t mean to downvote. Verbatim from Copy.

Had dinner at Sac-a-lait very recently and I must say it was extraordinary. Their menu and food is the most authentic cajun cuisine in the New Orleans area. Cochon gets all of the accolades, but SAL is in the same class and maybe more. They easily have the best restaurant gumbo I've ever had.
I love how the menu is broken up by "farm, hunt, fish". Each grouping offering dishes of differing courses ie. appetizer, entree.

Cody was made for TV. Comes across very genuine and likeable. Can’t say the same for Samantha. Very awkward and insecure.

I thought just the opposite. She seems to be the one that knows the recipes.

That’s kind of what I mean. You can tell she’s a behind the scenes powerhouse. But her on-screen presence needs work.

Those Kajun Kolaches look simple & really good.

Attention whores. They might as well be a Kardashian.

Yeah, he is a natural. I like her well enough, but she’d never make it on TV on her own. He would.
That doesn’t tmean she’s not a great cook. He just has that rare TV personality that she and most of us don’t.
