Well, glad to know it wasn't just me. I did see a lady eating at the bar when I went to close my tab and her burger looked better than mine but still over-cooked. Ours was way beyond over-cooked. Luck of the draw, I suppose.

If I had known they did them for $5 on Tuesday anyway then I would have went somewhere else. I thought these were all specialty burgers not normally on their menus. I saw it on the menu and wished I had not picked them first. They also did not serve the burger with any mustard or mayo and when I asked for some the guy wasn't even sure if they had any.

Trying somewhere new on Thursday but letting a friend pick this time around.

For the record, the Arancine and the Crawfish Beignets were delicious.

They hired a chef from downtown and I noticed he is no longer there ever since a few weeks after they hired him. Looks like the dinner service beyond the bar menu isn't happening either.

Yeah, I don't know what happened there. That guy is now doing the Secret Lair Taco thing. I keep wanting to like Olive or Twist, but they can't seem to get out of their own way.

Just had the Gouter burger and it was damn good. Flavorful and juicy. I'd highly recommend making it one you try this week.

yeah I had the Olive or Twist burger lastnight, mine wasn't as bad as the guy a few posts above seems to have been...not that good either though.

Same here. I wasn't impressed. I think the patties were a mix of ground beef and pork belly, that ruined the texture. The arugula and sweet pickles didn't help.

I'm either going to try Mahony's or Canefield (I like their happy hour) tonight on the way home. Hoping for good things.

Brunch. I haven't had a bad experience yet with their brunch menu.

Went to Canefield last night. They had all of their burgers listed for $5 (not just the special listed). Never been there before, but I'll definitely be back. Very solid.

Had the Burgersmith breakfast burger today (hash browns and a fried egg, served on toast). It was really good. Cooked a perfect medium, added grilled onions to it at no charge. I'd love to get this one again, if there weren't so many other places I want to go.

Had the City Pork Burger today. Combo and flavor were great. Patty was surprisingly small though which I didnt expect from them.

Had the Willy's burger yesterday for lunch - really good. I was worried about the size of the burger because of the $5 price tag, but it was a good size. Sauce and pulled pork worked well. Trying to decide which burgers to try next.

Had this one as well, patty was the size of a standard McDonalds Burger and severely overcooked.

It says that it's dine in only, but I guess it's still up to the place.

Had the Cajun Burger at Canefield today. Was very good, burger is ground beef and andouille. But if any one gets it I'd suggest telling them to hold the sriracha Mayo imo it overpowers everything.

The Londoner burger was decent. I liked the bun, the melted cheese in the middle, and I got alot of taste from the green onion and bacon. My only complaint was the patty to bun ration. The patty was 2/3 the size of the bun.

Overall 7.5/10
