Unlike other Buc-ee’s stores, however, which are Texas-centric in their mix of food and merchandise, Buc-ee’s first Louisiana location will feature products more appropriate to the Bayou State

Ah, Beaver Nuggets !!! I was trying to think of the name. If I ever robbed a Buc-ee's, that may be all I take, unless I have spare room in the get-a-way vehicle.

More like caramel popcorn but without popcorn. I'm not sure what the crunchy/crispy goodness underneath is.

Actually, I don't know what Pop's cereal is, so it may be just like it if not the same thing.

Indeed it is.

I love the cheese/cracker/sausage cups they have. The sliced smoked turkey or pork tenderloin and a Topo Chico might be the perfect road trip pick me up.

It really has become a victim of its own success, too big, too crowded and too time consuming...

Buc-ee’s, the popular Texas rest stop chain that announced amid much fanfare earlier this year it planned to open its first location outside the Lone Star State at the Greens at Millerville, has decided not to go forward with the project after all. Developer Windy Gladney says Buc-ee’s corporate office notified him late last week it was terminating its purchase agreement to buy the 15-acre site at the intersection of Interstate 12 and Millerville Road on which the mammoth rest stop was to have been developed.
