Agree with everyone who says halve them and roast them, but the last few minutes of roasting pour over a mix of butter, minced garlic, and hot honey, then put them back in the oven to caramelize - so good.

Sprouts of Brussels need great care. While wonderful, they're a disdained component of European cuisine.

The flavour is very tart, bordering on sour.

I'm an a-hole, yes, as I won't add until later.

Roast at 400 for 15 minutes with olive oil....cut them in half...yes. Make a mix of 1 tbl each of olive oil, sweet thais chili and fish sauce...and a tsp of garlic. Put 1/2 this mix on Brussels and mix them.....after another 15 minutes add the remainder and cook until tender.

Someone here years ago (was it SUB?) posted a recipe where you roast them first and then toss them in a mixture (that has been heated on the stove) of white vinegar, sugar, red pepper flakes, and minced garlic. Delicious.

Over the years, I’ve skipped the prep and only toss them in vinegar. Still awesome.

Any green you enjoy eating is better tossed in vinegar.

I like to do them cut in half, 400deg for approx 30min, S&P & EVOO

Then I take greek yogurt, food process it with some olive oil, garlic, cilantro & like juice & zest. And when the sprouts come out, toss them around in that

Take off outer layer, cut off end, cut in half.

Toss with olive oil, Penzey’s shallot pepper mix, garlic, white pepper, and some pancetta. Roast on 450 until nice and crispy brown.

Anyone know the Rizzutos in Lakeview recipe? It includes balsamic vinegar and cane syrup I believe but the best I’ve had!

I just cut them in half and toss with some olive oil and balsamic. Season with salt and pepper and roast them until they start browning up. Simple but pretty delicious.
