Is there anywhere worth stopping at for a bite to eat? Just casual places. Nothing upscale. Not picky or particular about what type of food either.

There's a BBQ joint in Port Allen called Cou-Yon's Bar-B-Q that's rated 4.7 out of 5 stars but I've yet to try it. That's all I got bruh.

I believe is considered Brusly... it’s right there in the main drag. I’m assuming they do the buffet on the weekends

Both places are good, just a matter of what you want. You’ll never deal with nicer people whichever of the two you hit.

The gyro burger at Athenos in Brusly is one my favorite things to grab for lunch on the Westbank.
