Have a work function next Wedensday that will not be over until after 9PM, and I want to take clients somewhere nice for a late dinner afterwards.

What nice restaurants are open late around BR?

They aren't serving food at said function?

Maybe Chimes would be a good option?

Ruth’s is open until 10:30 (rather than 9/10 like most places), but that’s kinda cutting it close. I wouldn’t want to be hurrying clients through their meal nor would I want to be that person lingering past close on a Wednesday.

I don’t know how nice you’re talking, but Chimes does food until midnight.

Ruth's Chris is probably your best bet. I think Little Village and Elsie's Pie and Plate are open until 10, but I'd certainly call all of them to confirm a reservation since your function doesn't end until "after 9". It would probably make a difference if you could arrive at the restaurant by 9.

Was hoping for French Market Bistro, but they close at 9PM. Chimes would be a no other options kind of place.

Flemings closes at 10 mid week, but I've stayed there well after that for a function. Of course, it was a party of 20 so that might be the exception.

then don't start at 9PM. Just go out for drinks and small plates or something.

Seems like the perfect place to me. I am sure your clients realize that its after 9pm on a Wednesday so I am sure they wont be expecting anything super fancy. Hell they probably will be thrilled to get some beverages.

Agree. Don't go somewhere "after 9" that closes at 10 to entertain clients.

I've heard the food at Blend is good, and they're open until 11.

Olive or Twist is open until 2AM. I think their kitchen is open until midnight? But even if it is only until 10, the actual place is still open until 2 so you're not putting anyone out.

If Fox and Hound were still open this would be a great place to go. They closed at 2 every night and kitchen stayed open late.

Food at Blend is good. I’d go there if I were OP.
