Great Italian sub with about 4 meats and two cheeses. Then have it dressed "Mike's Way".

How does it stack up against Firehouse? Looking at the menu it looks similar and will be in the same general area

I'm a sub freak, I've been to nearly all the chain places, and Jersey Mike's is maybe my favorite. Its been a few years since I've had it (where I lived last) so I don't remember the details of why I liked it so much, but the twinkle is still in my eye

Baton Rouge desperalty needs a potbellys..... better than any sandwich chain I've been to by a lot.

Have you checked out Milford's on Third, in the Watermark hotel? That's supposed to be a kosher deli. I haven't tried it yet, so I can't speak to it, but the other restaurant in the Watermark is good.

Jersey mikes is by far the best chain sandwich shop I've ever been to. They also make the best Philly cheesesteak, even better than the famous spots in Philadelphia.

I am surprised it is not already in Baton Rouge. I live near Midland, TX, about 140,000, and Jersey Mike's has been there for quite a few years.
