Does anyone know of any bone-in Boston Butt deals? I am looking to do 6 or so for the 4th. I know Sams has them I think for around $2.76 a pound.

Thanks

All the weekly special ads are typically released on Wednesdays. Hopefully somebody will have something cheap to smoke this weekend.

I use the Flipp app. It shows most of the ads from the grocery stores in your area.

Winn Dixie ad is showing "Bone-in Pork Shoulder Boston Butt Roast" (limit 1) for $1.29/lb starting tomorrow.

I only buy pork butt when they are 79 cents a pound. They usually go on sale. Use the Flipp app

I have 4 butts still from rouses sales, and thankfully I picked up 6 racks of ribs from WD on sale because meat prices have gone nuts. I don't have time to do the butts but I am doing the ribs for the 4th, well the 3rd, we are celebrating the 4th before the Kenilworth parade.

For that many, you'd really want to catch them on sale for sure. I was in Rouses yesterday and their single Boston Butts were priced at $3.99 a lb. and that's $3 a lb. more than when they are on sale.

Thanks for the app rec.

Just went through all of the deals and it looks like only Winn Dixie has a deal on bone in butts and as someone already said they are $1.29 per pound, limit 1.

I did see some specials on both baby back ribs and spare ribs.

Downloaded it after reading this thread. Had no clue it existed.

Rouses has what they call "Country Style Pork Ribs" that looks like what I usually call pork fingers on sale for $.99 a lb.

They really do well on the pit or smoker since they have a nice meat to fat ratio.

Looks like this will be one of those multi-store shopping trips for me.

Rouses for the spare ribs and pork tenderloin

Albertsons for leg quarters and brisket ($3/lb choice). They also have St. Louis style ribs for $2.50/lb so I might just skip Rouses.

Roberts for split chicken breast and Cajun turkey deli meat.
