What are the other sides that sprouts is an upcharge?

$30 for a 10 wing meal and drink feels about 8 bucks too high right now.

Mine was around $65 and agreed, I'd do it all good.

Is it though?

Bayou hot wings sells a 10pc for $12. No sides and no drink.

For $23 blue oaks sells the 10pc, 2 sides, bread, and pickles and onions if you want.

Neither include tax or a drink so I think it’s pretty comparable. Blue oak isn’t cheap but I wouldn’t say it’s that much more expensive when you actually compare what you get to other places.

Awful lot of downvotes with no suggestions on where this mythical BBQ shop is

I think people probably just downvoted you because you're a dumbass who likes to argue about everything. It's easier to hit and arrow than engage you.

As to the topic, that is too high and Blue Oak wings are a shell of their former selves. As mentioned, CCBBQ has superior wings these days. Cochon King was some great smoked wings as well.

If Costco brisket hasn't gone back to $2.96/lb then I can't imagine what it's like buying BBQ from a restaurant.

I love that you're so bothered by me to make this same whiney post anytime you respond to me.

Based on what, your feelings? Where are the 33% cheaper places?

Yea I'd have to see how big the sides are to know for sure. $30+ bucks for a wing meal and drink before tip is high as hell though.

So I'm eating chicken wings and not drinking beer and my bill is $40. Yea that's bs

I’d ask if you know the price comparison but it’s clear you don’t.

CC sells 12 wings for $20, no sides.

So again, to match the comparison it would cost you closer to $40 at CC vs blue oaks $30. To get roughly the same value.

Obviously you're just arguing to argue. The selective outrage for pricing at some restaurants is always fascinating. Very similar to how Canes would seem to be the only restaurant in existence to have raised prices if you went only off threads here.

They are comparing not me. I’m saying if you’re gonna bitch about pricing at least compare apples to apples in terms of value

No, I really don't. To be perfectly honest I don't look at prices. I just order what I want. My comment was more to say that quality of wings at Blue Oak has fallen below that of CC. And if it is $30+ dollars for an order of their shitty wings and a side it's indeed over priced.

Also, look at that stupid frick trying to argue with everybody. Hilarious

Show me any non-chain BBQ place where you can get an entree, 2 sides and a drink for the $20 after tax you think it should cost.

I didn't downvote you but here you go
10 wings and 2 sides $12

Well, it's population is over 100K and they are opening a Blue Oak BBQ 15 miles down the road from 306 so I'd say it's fairly relevant

If you think your at home bbq is better than restaurants…that’s super for you.

I live down the street from one of the top 5 BBQ places in Texas…and while I smoke my fair share of meat…there is no fricking way my brisket comes remotely close to Truth BBQ.

They have access to better meat than I do, and they do it at a great to exceptional level with amazing consistency.

All this is to say…frick paying 30 bucks for wings, but I will gladly pay 30 bucks a pound for exceptional brisket.
