Is hook'd up still open? Looks like what I remember the inside of it to look like

No idea, started following this place on FB and knew the opening was yesterday.

I think this place took over for that abomination. All they had was fried food and burgers, not exactly lighting the world on fire.

Saw some friends post pictures of it yesterday, and looks good. The large amount of draft beer is unique for Hammond so that may give it an advantage, but man that place has been 5 or 6 different things in the last 5 years. Name reminds me of Red, White, and Brew, did the same people open it?

Looks solid. Wing prices are a little wacky though. Who would order 4 wings for $9 when you can get 10 for $13?

No different people own it, I enjoy RWB and Todd and curious if Hammond can support 2 beer bars

I think it should be ok, the downtown restaurants are usually pretty full so this just adds another option. I'll add it to lunch and dinner rotation after trying it out.

Yeah tap list looks exclusively Louisiana with some bottles from elsewhere.... RWB has a larger bottle selection, food won't be much of an issue it seems this is trying to be more like a Chimes (maybe Londoner) than a beer bar like Corporate Draft.

Looks like they actually put some money into the place to make it look nice. Hook'd up always seemed kinda dirty

Looking at the FB they put a lot of work it it, redid the floors and ceilings along with the bar.

Both of the parking spots out front will pack em in
Posted on 2/6/16 at 2:58 pm to Shingo
Gasp, I guess people might could figure out how to park a few blocks a way and walk a little bit
Posted on 2/6/16 at 3:06 pm to notiger1997
I wish the place all the best but nobody has supported that location for 10 years, maybe more

between this and the iron horse opening soon things are looking up
hooked up was terrible, so is/was that pier 21 place
I'm pretty pumped about this development

Pier was not that bad, it was a little overpriced for what they offered. I think the owners just got tired of food business and it wasn't setting the world on fire but still doing ok. That is what I heard when they closed.

Looks like a lot of people are favoring it on FB
