besides the obvious for casual dinner and crawfish I like Frankie and Johnny's and something nice I recommend Vincent's, Shaya, AVO or Patios. Clancy's lost it's luster and Commanders is the biggest tourist trap uptown.
There is an awesome Mexican place on fountainbleau and Broad called El Pave Real that I highly recommend. It's not really uptown but close enough.

If the weather is conducive, there is nothing better to me than a meal at Lilette out on that porch or patio on the side street.

Coquette is excellent. Commanders obviously. Cavan in the Napoleon area is great. So many tbh
