What are some of the different things you have added to a boil. Not for flavor, just to eat along with crawfish besides the usual, corn,potatoes,sausage,mushrooms...

Garlic heads
Vienna sausages
ETA: It’s lil Smokies not Vienna sausages. As someone else said, Brussels sprouts are amazing.

Do you use a whole artichoke or a can of hearts with holes poked in it?

Put some snow crab legs in there. Fantastic

Done both but I prefer throwing in a whole artichoke

I threw a head of cauliflower in once. It was pretty good, and very spicy.

Take some hard boiled eggs, shell them and put them in a mesh bag. You soak them for about 30 minutes after you have pulled the crawfish and the water has cooled down to warm. Delicious
