Due to proximity, I always go to Matherne's on Bluebonnet, great selection for this one horse town.

Can't speak for all the stores people have listed but calandros on Perkins is my #1 followed by Alexander's, they are really trying with the beer selection, will order stuff if you ask, and the guy in charge of the beer is doing a good job lately of rotating stuff in and out of the build a 6 pack cooler.

SINGLES...Most anything you are looking for can be found in singles here..The best place in BR (now) that has make your own packs...

That's one of the things I love about Calandro's, they keep a great selection of singles. When something new comes out and I just want to try it, I can usually count on them to offer it as a single.

I agree.... I've been to Alexander's, Albertsons, and Hocus Pocus just because they are the closest to Prairieville. I like Calandro's but a lot of times I have no idea what to get from there and I can't catch reception to look things up lol

We are limited to what we get here in Louisiana. But when something new comes out, these stores usually always have it. I believe Calandro's may be the reason we are getting hoptimum this year. One of the distributors ordered too much Sierra Nevada Bigfoot, and wasn't going to order any Hoptimum until they got rid of the stock. Calandro's bought it up last week, so we should be seeing hoptimum soon.

Not exactly how it works. We are getting screwed because of the mismanagement of crescent crowns person over their craft beer

Update, was told no Hoptimum for BR this year. So I bought some Ruinten that is still on Beverage Store shelf.

The Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout and Sierra Nevada Southern Harvest still there too.

CJ from Calandros said the same thing in an email this week.

Calandros said they are getting some soon. By the time we get it, itll probably be past its shelf date.

She told me the same last week. Yesterday she said she was told nothing was coming. They are probably just sending it all to Calandros?

I believe he used to work at Marcello's wine warehouse back when it was open.

I was told recently that their will be no Hoptimum. The distributor put their order in too late.
