Silver Star BBQ & Steakhouse in Bossier or Silver Star Grille in Shreveport. Get the Rib Eye and a side order of augratin potatoes. I'll put their steak up against any of the "fine dining" establishments in town. The eye candy staff ain't bad either.

Country Tavern is definitely not upscale or “nice,” but they serve a really good filet with salad and choice of potato for $30. The meat itself costs more than that at many places that aren’t as good. It’s one of the best bargains in town.

Frank’s Pizza has the best steak in Shreveport they only do Filets I believe though. Country tavern also has a good steak.

Completely agree with this, the Ribeye is also great- get the au gratin potatoes.
