BLT (Bacon, Lobster, and Tomato) from a place called The Boat Yard in Panama City Beach, FL
Gott Gourmet in New Orleans has a pretty outstanding shrimp BLT wrap.
tobasco butter sauteed jumbo shrimp, fresh mozzarella, smoked bacon, avocado, roasted peppers, roasted tomatos, chili aioli, greens, and chipotle cream cheese.
sounds really busy, but's balanced and works.

2.) Reuben from Katz
3.) Fried shrimp with roast beef gravy from Domilese's.

theres this place on the jersey shore called kellys, its in neptune city. they make an incredible reuben that is bigger than a dinner plate, open face style. its so big that they have a smaller version which is still more than i can eat in one sitting.

I am a sandwich guy from day one, no lunch specials, I want a sandwich. Growing up in Metairie we had Mickey's by Oaklawn and the I-10 Service Rd., they made me love roast beef poboy and set a standard that few have met.
Now my current 1st place goes to a RB at Giorlando's on Bonnabel & Vets and in Baton Rouge I'll take a meatball poboy with provolone at Pocorello's.

Lee's Blue Cheese Cole Slaw
1 package of shredded cole slaw
1/2 bunch of cilantro (picked or chopped)
3 TB mayo
3 TB apple cider vinegar
1 packet of artificial sweetner (I use Splenda)
1 1/2 TB of honey
Salt to taste
Cracked black pepper to taste
1/2 - 3/4 cup of crumbled blue cheese
Combine all ingredients except the cheese in a large mixing bowl.
Make sure that all the mayo and the vinegar combine evenly.
Lightly toss in the blue cheese.
Put in the frige to chill for 30-45 mins...this also allows the flavors to get familiar with each other if you know what I mean.
It can be served without chilling but you will definitely taste the difference when it sits for the specified time.

French Fry po boy from Liuzza's is pretty rockin. Roast beef from Parkway bakery. Just some good ones I like.
Carlino's Grocery on Tom Drive which has been gone for about 20 years had killer grilled ham and cheese po boys.
I'm like Old Geaut- Fresh Bunny Bread; Blue Plate mayo; sliced kinda thick Cooks Ham; fresh sliced spring tomato, damn near a whole one; lettuce; salt and pepper.
Eat it over the sink with a glass of ice cold whole milk or sweet tea and a bag of Lays regular potato chips.

Damn thats been a long time ago. Ate there often during the summer when I worked around the corner.
Had a bar down the street about that time, The Clown room that made pretty damn good Muffalotas
First place I ever tried one actually.
also, nothing beats the first homegrown tomato sandwich w/ blueplate, salt and pepper.

A croque madame from some sidewalk cafe in Paris. A fried egg makes everything better.

I don't remember that but I do remember the Tonga Isle on Wooddale. It had a clamshell around the telephone. Darkest bar I've ever been in. Cool place.
