I think there's a big gap between Cochon and everybody else in Lafayette in quality of cooking and ingredients. It's head and shoulders above the rest. French Press, Pamplona, Jolie's, then RC are probably next.

Blair House. And, no, it's not open any more.

I personally think French Press is, hands down, the best restaurant in Lafayette. Charley G's, Pamplona, Village Cafe and Cochon (in no particular order) would round out the top 5. Jolie, while I like Manny (the chef) personally, really underwhelms.

I think people are using atmosphere instead of food for this one. The food is good but not great.

For me its Cafe Vermilionville. French Press is good and so is Jolie's

Charlie G's is probably one of the top all time restaurants on my Highly Overrated list.

Prejeans has not been really decent in about 6 years.

it was a big deal when my parents took me there for a birthday

steak with lump crabmeat on top was so good
